First night in Jerusalem

Well I have arrived in Jerusalem. The long haul travel is over for now so now the adventure can really begin...
This is my room that I have rented for the next week about half a kilometer from the Jaffa gate in the old city.
I have rented a room from two medical students who it seems moonlight as political activists on the side (as I am writing this they are planning a protest campaign against the governments compulsory national service policy which don't apply to orthodox Jews, which they feel is unfair)
Oh...it is about 37 degrees and it is now 8:30 at night
